Salary: $21.00/hour
Work Schedule: Primarily days; evenings and Saturdays as needed; 40 hours per week
The Facilities Manager conducts maintenance and repairs for two building locations and their surrounding properties. The Facilities Manager oversees the general cleanliness of the facilities, equipment, and grounds and supervises housekeeping staff. This individual maintains important paperwork and warranty information on equipment and structures, responds to emergency situations such as power failure, plumbing, heating, and security issues. Acts as a liaison between vendors and the library when needed or assigned. Reports directly to the Executive Director.

Additional abilities are integral to this role, such as good verbal and written communication, technical skills, leadership & decision-making, critical thinking & problem solving, and time management. Commits to excellent customer service. Is self-motivated and innovative. Has the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds. Should be able to stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and stretch. Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of related work experience is required.

Job Summary:
Are you an outgoing and customer service-oriented individual? We are looking for a candidate to provide reference and readers’ advisory to our patrons, maintain and organize our collection daily, assist programmers, check-in and out materials for patrons, monitor room reservations, help with displays, etc.
Excellent candidates will be able to:
Qualifications: Candidates will need to be 18 years of age and hold a valid Indiana driver’s license. A high school diploma is required (some college preferred). Proficient computer skills are required, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills such as good verbal and written communication are required. Intrapersonal skills such as critical thinking, time management, commitment to excellence and self-motivation are also required.
Must have the ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to 30 pounds, and push up to 50 pounds.
