Adult Study Rooms

Purpose: A quiet space for small groups (less than 4 people) to study or complete tasks.
Rules for Use:
• Use for intended purpose only.
• Not a play area
• Lights may be dimmed but should be kept on.
• Max 4 people at a time
Availability:
• First come, first served
• Open during library hours
• Patrons should begin to wrap up activities 15 minutes before closing time.
Time Limit: 3 hours but may be used longer if no other patrons are waiting (please check in with staff at the adult reference desk).
Before Leaving:
• Reset the room to the original chair and table configuration
o Study Room 1: 4 chairs, 1 table
o Study Room 2: 3 chairs, 1 table
o Study Room 3: 4 chairs, 2 tables
• Report any damage

Adult Collaboration Room

Purpose: The collaboration room is a quiet area intended for adult groups working on projects/events. Businesses may meet but may not use the space for profit.
Rules for Use:
• Use for intended purpose only.
• Businesses may not sell items from the collaboration room.
• This area is not intended for play or solo study (group projects are encouraged)
• Lights must be kept on.
• Caregiver required for anyone needing supervision
• Crafts, food and drink are discouraged
• Max 8 people at a time
Availability:
• Reservable on Communico for three-hour increments
• Open during library hours
• Ends 30 minutes before closing
Time Limit: 3 hours but may be used longer if no other patrons are waiting (please check in with staff at the adult reference desk).
Before Leaving:
• Reset the room to the original configuration.
• Report any damage.
• Turn in attendance sheet to adult reference desk.

Youth Study Room

• One small study room, max capacity 4
• Includes a desk and 4 chairs
• Study rooms are first come first serve. They are not reservable. 

Meeting Rooms

• Located on the Main Level
• Rooms include tables and chairs to fit capacity
• Rooms 1-3 include a TV, screen and whiteboard
• Room 4 includes a projector, screen and whiteboard
• Not available for parties
• Room 1 holds 9 people
• Room 2 holds 9 people
• Room 3 holds 15 people
• Room 4 holds 20 people
• Free for non-nonprofit users
• For-profit groups are charged a nonrefundable fee of $20
• All non-profit organizations, for-profit organizations, and parties are required to submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance in the amount of $500,000 listing the Kendallville Public Library as a certificate holder. These can be obtained from your insurance provider

Large Meeting Rooms A & B

• Rooms A and B are located on the Main Level
• Max capacity of Room A is 35
• Max capacity of Room B is 35
• Rooms A and B includes five 6' rectangle tables and 35 chairs
• Rooms include a kitchenette, whiteboard, projector and screen
• Free for non-profit users
• For-profit groups are charged a nonrefundable fee of $30 per room
• All non-profit organizations, for-profit organizations, and parties are required to submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance in the amount of $500,000 listing the Kendallville Public Library as a certificate holder. These can be obtained from your insurance provider

Large Meeting Rooms C & D

• Rooms C & D are located on the Lower Level
• Max capacity of room C is 75
• Max capacity of room D is 100
• Room C includes eight 8' rectangle tables, 24 chairs, a projector and screen
• Room D includes eight 8' rectangle tables, 24 chairs, a restroom, projector and screen
• Includes a kitchenette
• Free for non-profit users
• For-profit groups are charged a nonrefrundable fee of $60 per room
• All non-profit organizations, for-profit organizations, and parties are required to submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance in the amount of $500,000 listing the Kendallville Public Library as a certificate holder. These can be obtained from your insurance provider

Limberlost Branch

Community Room

• Max capacity is 49
• Includes 9 6' rectangle tables, one small table, 32 chairs, screen and TV.
• Free for non-profit users
• For-profit groups are charged a nonrefundable fee of $30
• All non-profit organizations, for-profit organizations, and parties are required to submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance in the amount of $500,000 listing the Kendallville Public Library as a certificate holder. These can be obtained from your insurance provider

Study Rooms

• Max capacity is 4 per room
• Includes a small table, 4 chairs with a mobile TV available
• Free for non-profit users
• Study Rooms are not reservable.
