Winter Reading 2026

Get ready to snuggle up with a great read this winter! Join the Kendallville Public Library’s Winter Reading Challenge – Hibernate with a Good Book, running December 22 through February 7, 2026. There’s something for everyone—kids, teens, and adults—with fun challenges and exciting prizes to keep you motivated all season long.

For Adults:

Track your reading in three-hour increments on your reading sheet. Each completed tab brings you closer to exciting rewards—your first tab even earns you a KPL mug! Every tab you turn in also enters you into the grand prize drawing for items like a cozy cooking package, a six-month FitStop membership, a cordless Shark vacuum, and local restaurant gift cards to Five Lakes and Dock’s Landing on Sylvan Lake. A huge thank-you to Dock’s Landing and FitStop for generously donating their prizes.

For Youth:

Take part in the Youth Winter Reading Game Board Challenge! Set a reading goal for each game board tile and earn a prize after completing five tiles. At the end, you’ll be entered into the grand prize drawing for themed baskets, including Princess, I Survived, Anime & Art, Where the Wild Things Are, Unicorn, and Music. Finish one board? Pick up another to keep reading and earning rewards!

Stop by the Kendallville or Limberlost Branch to pick up your materials and start reading your way through winter. Or download a reading sheet below. Cozy books, fun prizes, and warm library vibes await!
