Share your decorated pumpkin at our pumpkin show and tell. Then enter your pumpkin into our pumpkin decorating contest.
Decoration categories will include Cutest Pumpkin, Scariest Pumpkin, and Best Overall Design and prizes will be awarded for children, teen, and adult at both locations. If you didn't take part in the pumpkin show and tell you can still enter the contest by dropping your pumpkin off at the library. Pumpkin entries will be accepted October 17, 18 and 19. The public will vote on their favorite pumpkins on October 21,22 and 23. All pumpkins must be picked up at the library no later than Monday, October 28.
Contest Guidelines:
• You may use an artificial or real pumpkin
• No Carving
• If your entry starts to rot or ooze, it will be discarded
• Nothing too gory
• One entry per person
• Prizes will be awarded for age and type categories
• Be creative! You can use paint, paper, beads, feathers, markers etc.
• Do not put your name on your pumpkin, it will be assigned a number
