April is National Poetry Month, and we're inviting poets of all ages to share their work in our Poetry Adventure Walk! Both library locations will feature poems along the Adventure Walk!
This is not a competition—everyone is welcome to participate! Spots are limited, so be sure to register early to secure your place. Let your creativity flow and share your voice with the community!

Adventure Walk Poetry Showcase Rules
Eligibility
Open to participants of all ages.
Only one entry per participant.
Registration
Spots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants must register through Communico to secure their spot.
Poem Guidelines
Poems must be original works created by the participant.
Submissions must be appropriate for all ages. Poems containing offensive language or themes will not be accepted.
Poems should be no longer than one page (8.5x11)
Poems may have a one page illustration (8.5x11), but it is not required.
Submission Format
Poems must be submitted in typed, legible handwriting, or digital file format such as PDF or Word document.
Title of the poem should be included at the top of the submission.
Permissions
By submitting a poem, participants grant the library permission to display their work along the Adventure Walk and use it for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, newsletters, or flyers).
Submission Deadline
All poems must be submitted by March 4. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Display Details
Accepted poems will be displayed at both library locations during the month of April.
The library reserves the right to adjust formatting for display purposes while preserving the poem’s content.
General Rules
Participants must abide by the library’s code of conduct.
The library reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not follow these rules or meet the submission guidelines.
