Join us for Sensory Friendly Hour, a special time dedicated to creating a calm and welcoming environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities.

Whether you or someone you know experiences sensory issues, come enjoy a peaceful time at the library. Our library staff will be available to assist and ensure a supportive environment for all. We look forward to welcoming you!

This will take place on Wednesday of each week from 8-9 am at our Kendallville location. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult/caregiver.

This program is intended for all ages. In an effort to be courteous to our patrons and waitlisted registrants:

  • Register all attendees.
  • Please arrive at the program’s start time. Registering for a program will not hold your seat after the program’s designated start time.
    • Library doors will lock again at 8:15 am and no more entries will be allowed after this time. 
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration online or by calling 260-343-2010.
